NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rockford City Council will hold a Special Meeting Monday, May 21, 2018, at or about 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 7 South Monroe Street, to consider the proposed 2018-19 Budget and fees.  A copy of the proposed budget and fees are available for public review and inspection during normal business hours in the Office of the City Clerk.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rockford City Council has scheduled a Public Hearing for Monday, May 14, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 7 S. Monroe Street, Rockford, MI 49341, for the purpose of discussing adoption of the 2018-19 Budget and millage rate.  The proposed millage rate is 12.9 mils.  Council will also adopt the 2018-19 water and sewer rates.  A copy of the budget is available for public inspection during normal business hours in the Office of the City Clerk.

 

THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.

 

Public comments, either oral or written, are welcome at the Public Hearing.  Handicapped persons needing assistance or aid should contact the Office of the City Clerk during regular working hours forty-eight hours prior to the meeting.
